Raúl Mata
Founder · Investor · Creator of the Method X12
Raúl Mata is the architect behind the Method X12 and the driving force of the ecosystem that today brings together entrepreneurs, technological infrastructure, transformation teams and private investment.
With more than two decades founding, scaling, restructuring and investing in dozens of companies across multiple sectors and countries, Raúl has experienced firsthand the bottlenecks that stall companies. The Method X12 wasn't born in a theoretical office: it is the condensation of mistakes made, crises resolved and proven business patterns.

Origin & Philosophy
Why does Universo X12 exist?
A method can change a company. But for that company to grow to institutional scale, it needs to be surrounded by a solid ecosystem.
1. The origin: mistakes turned into a system
Before Universo X12 existed, Raúl Mata compiled two decades of operational lessons in his book 'From Passenger to Pilot'. The fundamental thesis: the entrepreneur must go from being hostage to their own operations to being the strategic pilot of the business.
2. The method: the conceptual compass
The Method X12 classifies the 12 recurring problems of growing companies, defines the 12 master levers of transformation and sets the 12 commandments of business leadership. It organizes the what and the why.
3. The holding: execution, technology and capital
Knowing what to change is not enough. That's why Raúl structured a holding with independent but interconnected arms: Club X12 for peer support, X12 Partners for on-the-ground implementation, NeuroHUB and NeuroTeachers for AI and data infrastructure, and X12venture to channel private capital to mature projects.
“Capital doesn't fix a bad project: it can accelerate a good one. That's why the work always starts with criteria, processes and method.”
